Thankyou to everyone who took part in Novembers Fun Doubles Competition. Congratulations go to Simon and Gwyn who won their 2nd doubles title in a row! With the Xmas period soon to be upon us there will be no more competitions this year so keep posted for announcements in 2010!

Pot Black is proud to announce the return of its monthly fun doubles comp. As usual the event takes place on the last saturday of the month which will be Saturday 28th November. Registration is open now, but hurry! Only 8 teams can enter!!

* 27th October 2009 *

A big congratulations to Tony Hird on winning the Champions League. And also a big congratulations to Kev Rogers who became Premier league champ after an entertaining play-off match with Chris Rolls! We hope to get the new leagues up and running in the next couple of weeks so watch this space!!!

We will now be closing at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays - but don't worry we won't be throwing you out the door if you are still playing!!!

We are proud to announce the installation of brand new pool tables and darts machine! We have a top-quality 8ft SAM American pool table and a more traditional 7ft English pool table. Our new darts machine features an interactive menu which translates into English and Spanish and contains all the usual game formats! But don't just take our word for it, come on down and see for yourself!

This months fun doubles will take place two weeks tomorrow on Saturday 25th July so there is still plenty of time to enter your team! Team names are encouraged (and of course they add to the fun!) best team name from last month was "Norfolk 'n' Chance" as chosen by Chris and Darren!! Can you do better?

Congratulations to Simon Eves and Gwyn Gravell for winning the monthly fun doubles tournament this weekend! Thanks to everyone who took part and for making the event a roaring success once again! Next doubles will be held on Saturday 25th July so if you want in just let us know!

June is here and so is Pot Blacks monthly doubles! The event will take place on Saturday 27th June 2009 with cash prizes and awards up for grabs! The tournament is limited to 8 teams so don't delay register your team today! For more details simply contact Pot Black!

Pot Black would like to extend a big thankyou to everyone who attended our Stuart Bingham exhibition day on Saturday. The day was an unprecedented success with fun had by one and all!! The afternoons inter-club tournament was won by Stuarts UK team who beat the Hillside club from Alicante and Team Pot Black to the coveted trophy. A special thankyou is reserved for Simon Eves for organizing the event. Pictures of the day will be in our photo gallery shortly.

Congratulations to Barrie Stokoe our new Pot Black Premier League Champion! Brand new Champions and Premier Leagues start a week today on Monday 8th June 2009 there is still plenty of time to register and be in with a chance of winning cash prizes plus trophies!!!

A reminder to all snooker fans that World professional snooker player Stuart Bingham is coming to Pot Black this Saturday 6th June! Following a private tournament the doors will be open to all from 8pm where Stuart will play some exhibition frames. So feel free to come along either for a chance to play or simply to watch a professional in action!

Brand new Pot Black Premier and Champions Leagues will begin on Monday 8th June and will run for 15 weeks. Cash prizes and trophies are up for grabs! Registration is now open and free to enter!

Pot Black is proud to announce the visit of World Professional Snooker player Stuart Bingham! Currently ranked 21st in the world Stuart will be visiting Pot Black for one day only on Saturday 6th June 2009! More details as we get them!!!!

Come on Ronnie!  Another great tounament, another great win!  Mark Selby was unlucky though and was the only man who could give him a game after he thrashed Carter and Maguire on the way to the final!  Welsh open next month, hope the quality snooker continues...

The Pot Black Leagues are up and running for the new year with Barrie Stokoe leading the pack with 8 straight wins and maximum points!!!  Dan Harris has him within his sights though with a top of the table clash to be arranged for later this week...
